Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back Method of calculation of dust load of the atmosphere and soil cover of the territory taking into account duration of existence of a dust in the atmosphere Chechneva E.S. The method of calculation of dust loading of a dump on the atmosphere and a soil cover of adjacent territories taking into account duration of existence of a dust in the atmosphere is presented. The method is based on use of the actual indicators of disperse structure of a dust of a dump that allows to receive at calculations of size of loads of the atmosphere and a soil cover at various distances from a dump depending on the weight of particles of the dust which has settled on a terrestrial surface. Such approach provides more reliable forecasting of loadings and an assessment of safety of functioning of a dump. The method is tested in relation to operating conditions of a dump of rocky overburden of a career of Stoylensky GOK within one year. Comparison of results of calculation testifies that distances from dump border at which the permissible load is exceeded, for the atmosphere and a soil cover of territories adjacent to a dump are comparable.
