Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back Climatic potential of the atmosphere dispersion in the Urals region Teterin A.F. Aleksandrychev I.P. Results of spatial-temporal variability of climatic potential of the atmosphere dispersion in the Urals region are presented. According to data from climatic directories of the USSR monthly and annual values of this parameter were calculated for fourteen meteorological stations located in Perm, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk and Kurgan regions also in Bashkortostan. Significant differences were found in the distribution of climatic potential of the atmosphere dispersion (from unfavorable to extremely favorable weather conditions) in the whole region, in regions, in natural zones and in cold and warm periods of the year. By the features of the annual course of climatic potential of the atmosphere dispersion were identified worst and the best conditions for dispersion of atmosphere pollutants. Practical recommendations for the implementation of specific measures to control the quality of the air basin in the Urals region have been proposed.
