Nowadays an important issue is the introduction of energy saving technologies, using low grade heat sources to reduce fuel consumption. The main way of recycling secondary energy resources is using vapour compression heat pumps. Mine waters and domestic sewage heat utilization problem is covered in the present article and results of the introduction of heat utilization activities at companies are shown. Results are given for the introduction of heat utilization activities at companies. The article covers the results of project execution on «The Development of High Performance Technology for Self-Cleaning Devices of Mine Waters Low Grade Heat Utilization» (heat utilization technologies). The developments outlined in the article are: a parametric list of six varieties of heat pumps and a programme for thermodynamic cycle parameters estimation. Technology has been developed and introduced for recycle water heat utilisation at compressor station of Kluchevskaya mine at Kizelugol Production Association and Osinnikovskaya mine at Yuzhkuzbassugol CJSC Mining Company; the water is used in the heating systems and hot water supply of the mine’s technological complex. For the first time in Russia a technology has been developed and introduced to utilize the heat of polluted domestic sewage.
