Тhe results of evaluation of the content of aliphatic alcohols in the snow by means of gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography spectrometry (GC/MS) in the zone of the administrative center of the territory of the Khanty-Yugra. Using gas chromatography, and gas chromatography-spectrometry snow samples determined acetone, methanol, ethanol, propanol-1, propanol-2 at the concentrations exceeding the maximum allowable standards. In the work of the development of approaches that improve the methods for determining the possibility of volatile compounds on standard equipment, which is extremely important in the analysis of objects of unknown composition, a comparison of several methods of concentrating aqueous solutions of alcohols and acetone, and propose an effective method for reducing the concentration limit of detection by gas chromatography and gas chromatography spectroscopy.
