Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back Purification of atmospheric air of oil and gas complex from hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans Evsina E.M. Alykov N.M. Alykov N.N. Alykova T.V. Evsin А.M. Sorbent and a method for removal from air of the oil and gas complex of hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans are offered. Air of plants where raw materials containing hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans are processed, despite all the measures contains a small, below the exposure limits, the amount of hydrogen sulfide and low molecular weight mercaptans. The basis of the sorbent is flask, the material with a high content of silica, calcium oxide (CaO), silica (SiO2), alumina (Al2O3), diethanolamine (NH(CH2)4OH), cetyl pyridinium chloride,, water (H2O), the rest - impurities. On the surface of sorbent granules diethanolamine is adsorbed, which forms a quite strong ionic associates with acidic gases. The mechanism of formation of associates, the mechanism of capturing of hydrogen sulfide, the characteristics and concept of the absorber for purification of the air from hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans are presented in this work.
