Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back TESTING OF LIGHTING FIXTURES FOR ILLUMINATION OF THE EXCURSION CAVES S.Ye. Mazina, E.I. Fedina, A.K. Yuzbekov The article considers the problem of optimizing the illumination tour in the caves. Lighting for extreme conditions of the caves must have certain parameters. When choosing lamps it is necessary to consider not only the aesthetic aspect, but also strive to maintain the ecosystem of the cave. Lighting should cause minimal damage to the underground environment. Empirical selection of lamps is not always possible, and checked the lighting in the conditions of the cave is long and not effi cient way. To determine the devices that will slow the development and growth of phototrophs in the conditions of the caves, it is necessary in the laboratory. The analysis of cave fouling communities identifi ed the dominant species found in the most famous tour of the caves. The proposed testing of the lamps on these species at the optimum for growth of phototrophs conditions.
