Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back THE ASSESSMENT OF THE VITALITY OF FOREST STANDS AS PART OF GEOECOLOGICAL MONITORING OF URBAN TERRITORIES (FOR EXAMPLE VORONEZH) M.A. Klevtsova The article presents the results of the evaluation of the vitality of plantations of poplar (Populus pyramidalis), which grow in different functional areas of the city of Voronezh. The main parameters of the selected morphological parameters. Woody plants subjected to infl uence anthropogenic character and modifi ed by abiotic factors, in connection with those watching decreased in viability of organism and the deterioration of the execution trees of sanitary-hygienic functions. In industrial and transport areas marked decrease in the viability of forest stands. Revealed a signifi cant infl uence of the growing area on the vital state of trees. The distribution of trees according to the categories of vitality in different functional areas of Voronezh is showed. Informational content of these parameters and prospects of their use in geoecological monitoring is proved.
