THE IMPACT OF EMISSIONS QUARRY DUST ON THE RESOURCES OF ATMOSPHERIC AIR OF ADJACENT TERRITORIES
V.I. Papichev A.N. Proshlyakov

Consider a new approach to assessing the impact on the atmospheric air emissions of dust in quarries. The dust emissions in
the atmosphere in essence replaces part of the resources of the atmospheric air of natural quality of volumes that includes
dust with inappropriate content in during the time of its existence in the atmosphere. The dust emissions in the atmosphere
in essence replaces part of the resources of the atmospheric air of natural quality of volumes with inappropriate content in
during the time of its existence in the atmosphere. Until the dust content in the cloud will exceed the maximum permissible
concentration (MPC), the volume of cloud cannot be considered part of the resource. The concentration of emissions with
the expansion of cloud decreases to a value lower than the MPC meantime preventing to regard these volumes as a substitute
of resource of normal quality of atmospheric air. Calculations executed on statistical data of iron ore pits showed that the
main component of load on the atmospheric air is dust. Examined character of change of substitution of resources of atmospheric
air as a result emissions of dust during the existence of a dust cloud formed in the process of blasting operations, and
with dusting moldboard surface. Using the proposed approach makes it possible to assess the extent of dust emissions in the
quarries on the resources of atmospheric air in mining areas, follow the dynamics of withdrawal of resources, as a result,
of dust emissions in the quarries and to identify the most dangerous time stages of the existence of a dust cloud that allows
to both during the design and production of mining works to take the necessary measures to ensure the safety of those areas
through which it can proceed.
Keywords: career; blasting; dumps; dust; air emissions; atmospheric air resources; load, withdrawal.
