The article is devoted to the basic rules of safe work specialists in stationary analytical laboratory, which is a combination of specially equipped spacious and bright spaces, each adapted to studies of samples of the objects of the natural environment (air, water and soil) of different physico-chemical methods for the purpose of quantitative determination of concentrations of specifi c pollutants. It discusses in detail the issues associated with non-glass chemical laboratory ware (plastic, quartz, high-refractory and porcelain), its range and usage. Special attention is paid to the washing and drying of laboratory facilities, and key laboratory operations: heating, including calcination and steaming, weighing, grinding, blending, mixing, dissolution (including the calculation formulas for the preparation of a certain amount of a solution of a substance a given concentration) and fi ltered.
