THE STUDY OF THE AEROSOL POLLUTION IN THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW |

The presented article is devoted to the study of the aerosol contaminants in the atmospheric air of Moscow. It is explained that such aerosols, their classifi cation depending on the size and methods of determining their count and mass concentration (by gravimetry, optical methods and methods based on the use of the piezoelectric effect) with the use of specialized devices, including automatic detectors and remote sensing systems. It is noted that the most dangerous to humans are suspended particles of PM 10, which can easily penetrate into the lungs and accumulate there. In tabular form illustrates graphically the results of the determination in atmospheric aerosols of fi ne particles in different areas of Moscow, and also the quantitative content of heavy metals and PAHs.
