THE KINETIC CHARACTERISTICS OF PROCESSES OF TREATING HAZARDOUS ORGANIC COMPOUNDS BY CORONA DISCHARGE |

This article considers the issues of determination of the effi ciency dependence of purifi cation of organic pollutants by corona
discharge on the technological parameters of the ionization chamber by means of the examination of kinetic regularities of oxidation of organic compounds. The description of the experiment and indicated methods of data processing are presented in the article. Tabular and graphical representation of the effi ciency dependence of oxidation of organic compounds on the voltage in the electrode gap through comparison of the rate constants of reactions also shown in the article. There are
conclusions made regarding the dependency rate constants in the reactions of the technological parameters in the ionization chamber. The values of maximum cleaning effi ciency gas emissions are determined, as well as the optimum electrode spacing to maximize the effi ciency of oxidation of organic compounds.
