Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back Evaluation of the comfort level of the population living in the regions using modern GIS-technologies Trifonova T.A., Salyakin I.E., Krasnoshchekov A.N. There is a new proposed methodology for the comfort level evaluation of the population living in that region. A new GEO Informational Environment that consists of the object oriented software modules was developed. There are maps of the comfort level for the population based on a gender and the age groups. Also, for the first time, the comport level for the individual user, can be calculated using a software. Key words: comfort of the populations residing; GEO Information Environment.
