Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back ABOUT DEVELOPMENT OF SYSTEM OF MONITORING OF NOISE IN CITIES M.V. Volkodaeva, K.V. Demina, A.V. Levkin The article speaks about the growing problem of environmental degradation associated with noise pollution. The data on noise pollution in Europe and Russian cities, with the release noise caused by traffic motor transport. The analysis of the main sources of noise during driving of the vehicle and described the sanitary norms for admissible levels of sound pressure, sound levels, equivalent and maximum sound levels. The authors propose extension of the existing system of environmental monitoring, equipment of existing control posts of air pollution instrumentation, measurement of noise. Provides basic requirements for devices used to solve the problem. The result of this work will provide accurate information on the basis of an ongoing monitoring system to develop appropriate environmental measures to reduce noise exposure.
