The result of experimental investigations on the intensity of humidifying the elements of the ground cover, which upon acting on them by the spout of supercooled water vapor, allowed to develop and to justify a new method of localizing the forest fires. This method represents humidifying the elements of the ground phytocenosis and simultaneous annealing of the dry grass.
