The system of prevention of pollution harmful effects on ecosystems includes the development of environment quality criteria, the bioassay of pollution and the reveal of ecological changes. The criteria (MATC) must to prevent the dangerous pollution. The bioassay must elicit the pollution and estimate the required dilution of it. The bioindication detects the results of harmful effects of pollution, the results can be taken into account for criteria correction and for choice the area of bioassay application. The criteria development, bioassay and bioindication can’t replace, but add each other. The bioassay and bioindication are the main elements of biological monitoring of ecosystems.
