The analysis of sensitivity of the Shelf Ecosystems Model to variations for its basic parameters by the example of simulation of the optical characteristics Northern Caspian |

Mathematical modeling of ecosystem of shelf is based on the method of aggregation and averaging with the subsequent hierarchical decomposition. This method includes the step-by-step comparison of the modeling results with observations. A block of optical characteristics (absorption coefficient, backscattering and coefficient of diffuse light reflection) built in the model made it possible to use data of both contact and distant observations, recorded simultaneously. Comparison of the results of modeling and observation demonstrated that their agreement is satisfactory quantitatively and qualitatively. That has allowed to proceed of an investigation of sensitivity model to variations of its basic parameters. Speed of cell fission of phytoplankton is varied. At variations of the specified parameter the annual course of biomass phyto-, zooplanktona, concentration of the biogenic elements, organic substances and optical characteristics - absorption coefficient, backscattering and coefficient of diffuse light reflection has been designed. Modeling simulations have revealed nonlinear character of dependence of a seasonal course of the values of optical characteristics from the changes of the values of photosynthesis speed. And also simulation has shown significant intervals of lengths of waves of a seen range spectrum for the optical characteristics adequate to variations of biomass a component of ecosystem.
