SOME APPROACHES TO CREATING A COMFORTABLE URBAN ENVIRONMENT BASED ON ECOLOGICAL AND LOGISTICS SOLUTIONS |

One of the main problems of the city of Samara is the congestion of intra-urban roads by road and the complexity of building new roads due to dense residential development. The situation is aggravated by the fact that the growth of the motor fleet continues. There is a construction of new microdistricts in the suburbs of Samara. At the same time, the main part of the population of microdistricts are young families working in the city and using the car as the main means of transportation. In this connection, in the morning and evening hours, when residents of these microdistricts go to work and back, on the main roads of the city traffic jams are formed, which negatively affect the health of the population. To solve this problem, it is necessary to create a comfortable urban environment that can be realized with the proper arrangement of logistics priorities in the city. It is necessary to develop a network of bike parking stand, create a system for bicycle rental, scooters, create dedicated lanes for both bicycles and public transport. Also, to improve the quality of services provided by public transport, it is necessary to create an efficient route network, of which multimodal transportation should be a part. The basis of the transport system should be environmentally friendly modes of transport that use electricity as a source of energy: trams, trolleybuses, electric buses. In addition, it is necessary to develop high-speed off-street transport: underground, high-speed tram, city train, cable car. These modes of transport also use electricity as an energy source. In addition, it is necessary to work with the public: to carry out various actions, display advertisements about the dangers of cars and the advantage of environmentally friendly modes of transport. These measures will attract motorists to alternative modes of transport, thereby reducing the tense situation on the roads of the city.
