Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back ECOLOGICAL RESEARCH OF ANTHROPOGENIC POND OF DZERZHINSKY DISTRICT OF VOLGOGRAD V.A. Zamesova, N.V. German Our research was aimed at identifying the anthropogenic impact of the environment on a natural water body. We performed this work in the period from May to January 2018-2019. One of the objectives of the study is that the reservoir under study is located in an urbanized area, so the pond receives a great influence from human activity. And this directly affects the overall ecological state of the reservoir. We have chosen the most common research methods. We did water analysis for dry residue, due to which salts were detected, we performed bioindication in order to determine the pollution of the reservoir by the presence of indicator microorganisms (Synedra ulna); the concentration of dissolved oxygen was detected in order to determine the amount of oxygen on which the life of hydrobionts depends. The material collected by us makes it possible to assert that the pond is moderately polluted. Keywords: ecology; pond; bioindication; water studies; pollution; impact factors; monitoring.
