ENVIRONMENTAL CONSEQUENCES OF THE RECEIPT OF SOLID WASTE OF MINING PRODUCTION IN OF THE GEOSPHERE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ORE DEPOSITS

The extraction of lithospheric material, due to geological reasons and the constant complication of the General conditions for the development of deposits that have economic value, is always accompanied by the arrival in the main Geosphere of the Earth of various types of solid waste, the total amount of which can be several times greater than the volume of production of the actual mineral. Long-term development of the mining industry in Russia has led to the accumulation of huge volumes of waste of mining raw materials (more than 100 billion tons) And only 8...10 % of them meet the requirements of waste storage. The potential resource value of the created technogenic neoplasms is directly related to the Mineralogy of the developed deposits, and the real environmental danger is quantitatively determined by their volume, design and nature of the landscape, and in the qualitative – by the structure of technogenic factors in combination with the properties of the transit and depositing natural environment. Problems of placement and optimization of parameters of dumps become the most important task on which successful decision not only technical and economic indicators of work of the enterprises, but also rational use of a subsoil and environmental protection depend. Storage of large-dispersed solid waste (waste rock) means that after their full use, measures for reclamation and return to economic circulation of the territories freed from dumps are necessary. Solid waste disposal means that the Geosphere depositing these wastes changes its state and restoration of ecological balance will require revitalization of the formed technogenic landscape. The decrease in the level of total biota damage is associated with the creation and application of systems with predominant ore preparation, as well as with an increase in the size of the excavation units and the associated scale of the culling. At the same time, the environmental efficiency of these measures will increase as the complexity of the terrain of the territory on which the rock dumps are located. The interaction of mining with The earth's atmosphere provides for the active use of its resource, transit and depositing functions. In environmental terms, this interaction is divided into two components: mine ventilation and air pollution by technogenic aerosols. The unprecedented increase in the volume of mineral extraction and the rapid increase in the energy intensity of the applied geotechnologies have given life to another environmental problem associated with the processes of subsoil development – the problem of atmospheric pollution by technogenic mineral nanoparticles. Currently, mining is carried out almost throughout the land (except Antarctica), so the release of nanoscale solid objects into the atmosphere can be considered a global factor.
