Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back THE MOVEMENT OF THE COHESIVE DEBRIS FLOW ON THE ROUNDED (CURVILINEAR) PLOTS O.G. Natishvili, I.G. Kruashvili, I.D. Inshvili The article describes the movement of a cohesive debris flow at the rounding. It is assumed that the cohesive debris flow moves along a rocky prismatic bed of rectangular cross section. Obtained equation allows to establish the estimated depth of the cohesive debris flow near the concave bank of the watercourse, therefore, to predict possible flood zones. A method for calculating the appearance of a single wave in cohesive debris flows behind a turn in a curvilinear section of a watercourse is proposed.
