Erosion – Debris Flow Processes and Solar Activity |

On the basis of many year observations the analysis of frequency of debris flow occurrence caused by the activations of erosion processes of the mountain slopes connected with the change of climate and especially with the solar activity is given. In the erosion hearths of Georgia the annual sums of summary solar radiation increase in temperature this way – 4 400 Mgj /m2 (Adjara), 5 050 Mgj / m2 (East Georgia) and 6 400 Mgj / m2 in high mountains. Correspondingly the elevation of erosion hearths above the sea level changes from 1 280 m. to 3 800 m. The erosion class of mountain slopes according to R. Morgan varies from 5 to 6 and the intensivity of erosion processes in erosion hearths reaches from 10…50 to 100…500 tons / hectares per year. |
