Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back AUTO MODES COLUMNS FOR PULSED LIQUID EXTRACTION N.A. Merentsov, A.V. Persidskiy, M.V. Topilin, A.B. Golovanchikov This paper provides a new method of implementing pulse liquid extraction with the use of elastically-deformable packing blocks, in which the wastes of metalworking machines meeting certain requirements and being classified by means the developed technique λ=f(Rem) are used as the packing material. The authors describe in detail the scheme of the developed method and the modes of automatic adjustment of the main operating parameters are described. The article covers the main features and advantages of using metal shavings, that is metalworking machines wastes, as pulse elastically-deformable packing blocks. The presented method of pulse liquid extraction implementation allows to significantly intensify mass transfer processes and improve the mass exchange extraction columns performance and also to solve a very serious environmental problem of industrial waste disposal since various steel grades being mechanically processed at machinebuilding enterprises form a huge amount of wastes with different properties and configurations, which are undoubtedly to be used in the following as mass exchange contacting devices.
