Galchenko Emissions of large volumes of mineral dust of various granulometric and chemical composition into the natural environment accompany the work of any mining enterprise. The main sources of man-made dust within natural ecosystems are the opening and ventilation workings of underground mining enterprises, quarries, concentrating and sintering factories, as well as some other elements of the infrastructure for storing and dumping solid waste from mining.
