REDUCTION OF OIL PRODUCT LOSSES FROM TANKS ON THE BASE OF BUILTIN LOWTEMPERATURE SYSTEM FOR CAPTURING AND RECOVERING FUEL VAPOURS |

The problem of air pollution with light and heavy fractions of hydrocarbons is investigated. A description of the impact on the soil and population is given. The process of emission of fuel vapors from tanks at filling stations is considered. A review of systems for reducing these losses was made. A description of the system for capturing and recuperating fuel vapors based on the organization of the process of condensation of gasoline vapors by builtin devices outside or inside cooled breathing lines is given. The solution of using a vortex air cooling machine equipped with a vortex tube for cooling the vaporair mixture is presented. The process of the vortex tube operation is described, the main characteristics are shown. A diagram of the engineering calculation of the geometry of the energy separation chamber, the nozzle input, the temperature and pressure of the cold and heated flow is presented. Methods for increasing the efficiency of vortex coolers are proposed. The layout and confi guration of the air refrigerating machine
is considered. The design of the breathing line is given for the condensation of vapors directly in the flow of cold air from the vortex tube. The implementation of the considered system shows its effectiveness.
