Ambrosimov Comprehensive studies carried out in the Arctic seas in October 2019 revealed new elements of climatic changes in the structure of the water column of the East Siberian Sea. The appearance of a large number of methane seeps is accompanied by the rise of deep waters to the sea surface, which destroys the pycnocline and part of the methane directly enters the atmosphere, increasing the greenhouse effect.
