Kovalyov The article presents the results of expeditionary studies carried out in the 78th cruise of the R/V Akademik Mstislav Keldysh in the Laptev Sea. It is shown that the hydrology of the sea is largely determined by the runoff waters of the Lena River, the effect of which is found at a distance of more than 600 km from the mouth. The characteristics of the intrusion and mixing of runoff waters when moving to the Arctic Ocean have been deter-mined. Keywords: Laptev Sea; runoff waters; intrusion; hydrology; currents.
