CRITICAL DEPTH OF A COHESIVE STRUCTURAL DEBRISFLOW WITH VARIABLE FLOW RATE ALONG THE WAY |

The paper describes a method for determining the critical depth of a coherent mudfl ow both at constant and variable flow rates along the way. From the offered equations, along with other characteristics of the flow, in determining the critical characteristics of the flow, the decisive role in coherent mudfl ows is played by the coefficient of kinematic viscosity, which should be expected. The obtained equations should be taken into account when designing mudfl ow controlling hydraulic structures.
