UNIFIED STATE MONITORING SYSTEM AND ITS FUNCTIONAL ROLE IN ENSURING ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION |

The article describes a method of operational control of atmospheric pollution of local territories, which can be used in the system of urban environmental monitoring to quickly identify sources of possible air pollution in local territories. The essence of this method consists in a system of sequential actions implemented using a mobile laboratory consisting of a carrier car and a trailer equipped with control and measuring and auxiliary equipment, power units and life support equipment. Its peculiarity is that it allows for simultaneous selection, identifi cation and quantitative chemical determination (including the use of various gas analyzers) of harmful substances in atmospheric air samples and industrial emissions, as well as continuously compare the results of research in real time using a PC and calculate the percentage contribution of emissions from the i-th source to the total level of pollution of the local urbanized territory.
