Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back FEATURES OF MONITORING OF HAZARDOUS NATURAL IMPACTS USING THE DATABASE E.G. Petrova Databases are seen as an effective tool for monitoring natural hazards. The article presents the author’s database of technological and natural-technological events. Statistical analysis of the collected information makes it possible to trace the temporal and spatial distribution of the impacts of hazardous natural processes on man-made systems and infrastructure facilities and assess natural risk. The database also makes it possible to compare different regions by the level of risk of natural-technological events.
