Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back DYNAMICS OF THE HYDROLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF WATER MASSES IN THE WESTERN PART OF THE KARA SEA IN JULY 2019 AND AUGUST 2020 A.K. Ambrosimov, G.A. Kovalyov The article presents the materials of hydrophysical observations obtained during the expeditions to the NIS «Academician Nikolai Strakhov» in 2019–2020 in the Kara Sea. It is shown that the extremely cold thermohaline structure of the water column is typical for the entire western part of the sea in the summer period. The distribution of river waters of the Ob and Yenisei across the sea areas is heterogeneous and depends on weather conditions and the volume of runoff water.
