CONTINUOUS INDEPENDENT HYDROACOUSTIC MONITORING OF AN UNDERWATER MINING COMPLEX |
V.F. Emelianenko, A.E. Malashenko
The parameters of the hydroacoustic system for monitoring underwater mechanisms and oil and gas production facilities on the shelf were evaluated. The control system is installed in the area of underwater oil production complexes and operates independently for 1-2 years. The system consists of several hydroacoustic complexes that provide reception and analysis of primary hydroacoustic information and compare the real noise characteristics of operating oil production complexes with reference noise portraits. If there are deviations from the specifi ed parameters or new noise sources appear, the system sends a warning signal about the danger of a manmade disaster.
Keywords: underwater mining complexes; hydroacoustic station; noise direction finding; spectralenergy characteristics; noise portrait; technical resource; fault classification; decision criteria.
