Shevelev The oxidative effect of ozone in the presence of hydrogen peroxide in the process of wastewater treatment containing a large amount of suspended solids has been investigated. The effect of the ozone dose, the ratio of ozone and hydrogen peroxide, pH, and wastewater temperature on the residual concentration of phenol and the COD value during oxidative purification was tested. The use of hydrogen peroxide during ozonation of the wastewater under study makes it possible to abandon the physico-chemical stage of purification (coagulation + flocculation), which is environmentally appropriate.
