PRACTICAL APPLICATION
OF EARTH REMOTE SENSING
DATA FOR THE STUDY OF MARINE
NATURAL DISASTERS |

As part of this work, a review of marine natural disasters was conducted, focusing on their characteristics and consequences. Remote
sensing technologies that are used to monitor these phenomena, as well as methods for processing data obtained using remote sensing, are
considered. In addition, this article examines the importance of integrating remote sensing data into information systems, which will create
more effective mechanisms for responding to natural disasters. With the help of remote sensing of the Earth (remote sensing), this event
was monitored and the consequences of the descent of powerful mudflows were analyzed at a site in the area of the Nevodsky Tomarinsky
district of the Sakhalin Region, which occurred in April 2025, as a result, the roadbed was destroyed.
