In this paper, algorithms for processing remote sensing data for monitoring the atmosphere on methane emissions in seismically and
volcanically active areas are investigated.
With regard to the tasks of assessing the condition of objects of the underlying surface and territorial management in the Far East, an
analysis of existing methods and algorithms for remote sensing data processing has been carried out to identify potential sources of
methane emissions, which makes it possible to determine the level of its emission based on the validation decipherable features of objects
and the normalized relative vegetation index of ground data generated in the database.
