The condition of natural environment pollution (atmosphere air, surface water, soils) by toxic metals (Pb, Cu, Zn, Cr, Ni, As, Mn, etc.) of Podolsk was described. Pollution levels of diagnostic biological environments of children (hair, blood), living in various areas of city were studied. The real damage to children health on the basis of an estimation of results of testing of their psychological development and behaviour, influence of socioeconomic factor was defined.
