Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back New water-balance model of the Volga’s Delta as the way to optimal supervision by its water rate Polonsky V.Ph., Ostroumova L.P. The new water-balance model of Volga delta was developed. It allowed to calculate with daily step-type inflow, changes of water volume, seen evaporation and outflow in each of the allocated areas of delta with the account changes of water between them. The results of account of water-balance components in various areas of delta by various scripts of a hydrological mode, water economy and hydraulic engineering measures can makes a basis of development of the scientific recommendations on optimization of an ecological condition, economic use and water resources management in mouth area of Volga.
