The new tendency for synthesis of massive heterogeneous catalysts by fixing metal organic complexes of transitive metals on hard surface of polymer for sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans liquid-phase oxidation in the catalytic emulsion installation (CEI) has been created. The operating principal and basic constructive characteristics of the CEI for complex treatment of stack gases from ashes and ash-containing combinations are considered. The research results of adsorption-catalytic gas treatment from sulfur dioxide in laboratory conditions and experience-industrial tests at the CEI are presented. As a result, high efficiency and stability are peculiar for catalyst operating and the whole construction in general. The construction is recommended for wide use.
