The results of studies executed on a scientific research vessel (SRV) "Russia" with the help of a ship environmental activity complex (SEAC) in Northern Caspian harbor areas are reviewed. The matching is held and the good concurrence of observed data obtained with the help of SEAC in situ and by sample drawing by a bathometer with consequent analysis on board the vessel by traditional methods is displayed. The values of measured hydrophysicochemical parameters, average on a large scale array of data are presented. The analysis of correlation links between these parameters is held, which one has shown, that their variability is instituted by two major factors - merging of the Volga waters with waters of the Caspian sea and time of day, during which the measuring is executed ("diurnal variation"), that is connected to high biological productivity of a pool.
