Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back On coefficients of multiple regression equation with correlated predictors in medical and ecological monitoring problems A.N. Varaksin, V.G. Panov It is stated and discussed the theorem: In a multiple regression equation y=b0+b1 х1+b2 х2, having correlated predictors X1, X2 with a simple regression equation х1=с0+с12 х2, one has equality , where is a regression coefficient in equation , and new variable is defined by =(х1с12х2). Using the theorem we give an interpretation of multiple regression equation coefficients. It is considered applications of the theorem to the actual ecological monitoring data analysis.
