Dosimetry system for determination of radionuclide inventory of gas and aerosol mixture |

Dosimetry system for determination of release rate of gas and aerosol radioactive mixture in case of radiation accidents and normal operation of a NPP is considered. The system that consists of a flow-type ionization chamber and non-flowing (leak-tight) ionization chamber (IC) is a more acceptable dosimetry system. Additional kitting of the system with xenon spectrometer allows to define partial intensity of a release of specific radionuclides, as well as total intensity of radionuclides in total. Here are given proposals on the use of technologies for liquefaction of gases to separate Gas Flow Meter from air. This allows to settle problem of radioactive gas and aerosol releases into the atmosphere and drastically improve ecological condition of environment for personnel and public in the area of allocation of nuclear facilities.
