Tyugin Internal solitary waves and their surface manifestations with and without consideration the effects of Earth’s rotation in the framework of Gardner and Gardner–Ostrovsky equations in horizontally homogeneous and inhomogeneous (both in density and depth) stratified basin are considered. Surfactant dynamics in the field of internal waves was modeled on the basis of the balance equation of the surfactant concentration and is presented for advection model with diffusion and relaxation included. Practical results are given for vertical cross-section in the hydrological conditions of the Baltic Sea.
