Usage of lidar sensing
for the estimation of control accuracy of chemical environment in the area of toxic substance cloud spreading in the course
of accident at the chemical plant

The system of the equipment, which ensures the local concentration test of the toxic chemical in the point of its location, is examined. The necessity of the control of the detection accuracy of threshold concentration excess during the chemical environment monitoring after emergency emission of toxic chemical in the atmosphere is shown. It is offered to estimate the measurement results accuracy of the situation on the basis of comparison of duration of one measurement and average value of the spatial scale of the local concentration fluctuation of the impurity. The opportunity of an estimation of fluctuation scale on the basis of lidar sensing of the emission cloud is proved. It is proposed that the cloud sensing results in the form of point data, near which there is the maximum permissible concentration of the toxic chemical, should be treated as normally distributed uniformly precise data set The errors of received estimations for the various geometrical forms of a cloud are determined. It is showed that the error is decreased rapidly when the scale of the concentration fluctuation of the impurity is increased even in case of strongly elongated clouds.
