Analysis of the Seasonal Dynamics of Ph, Nitrogen, Sulfur, Cod,
Dissolved Oxygen in the Ponds of the Volgograd Aglomeration |

The article contains the analysis of seasonal dynamics of the most important chemical and physical indicators of ponds ecological status. The main chemical and physical characteristics are considered pH, nitrogen and sulfur compounds, COD, dissolved oxygen and temperature of the water environment. The causes of seasonal fluctuations of environmental parameters data and the possibility of their use for prognosis of ponds future ecological state are studied. This statistical data of concentration of sulfur and nitrogen-containing components can be assessed not only for self-purification capacity of pond as well as its use as a natural filter for the various waste water, to determine the level of anthropogenic pressure, the degree of its influence on the hydrochemical processes in the pond, the level of risk to the object. Study of this field is especially important for Volgograd agglomeration, which ponds are located in densely populated territories, providing them with high human pressure. The occurrence of natural and man-made processes not only leads to a change in the migration of substances themselves, but also to the formation of the new balance ratios of different components in water ponds, which has a significant impact on the ecological condition of the objects.
