Development Results of Gas Nanosensors Based
on Carbon Nanotubes (Part II) |

The gas nanosensors with the sensitive elements containing a covering from a composite material based on carbon nanotubes are considered in this article. These products are divided into six groups. It is specified that gas nanosensors based on carbon nanotubes allow be determining the big number of organic and inorganic chemical compounds. Concentration of determined compounds is in a range from ~10–7 up to 100 %, response time is from several seconds up to tens minutes, recovery time is from ten seconds up to tens minutes. Measurements are carried out at normal (room), lowered (up to –160 °С) or increased (up to 700 °С) temperature of sensitive elements. Conductivity, acoustic wave, capacitor, light refraction and ionization measuring transducers are used. The observable laws are marked.
