Simulation of process of sanitation of phenol sewage
in discontinuous electroadsorber

When the ion exchange purification of waste water in an electric field on a charged molecule or ion is a force equal to the charge on the electric field. The rate charged at least one charge of molecules or ions of the absorbed material will be proportional to the electric field and can be determined by an equation similar to the formula of the particle velocity in the electric filter. Phenol in water is a weak acid that is dissociated to form ions. Due to an electric field the degree of dissociation of weak electrolytes increases dramatically (the Wine effect), that is, a growing number of phenol molecules dissociate and their speed increases as the electric field intensity. Calculations performed on the developed physical and mathematical models have shown that the electric field 500 V/m total volumetric mass transfer coefficient increased by 54 %, and the time of the protective effect and the amount of fluid being treated by one kilogram of adsorbent by 82 %. Electric adsorption are useful for purification of water from weak dissociation dissolved components, the degree of dissociation of which increases with the effect of wine the most, which leads to the growth velocity of the ions and increase the volume coefficient of mass transfer to the charged surface of the grains of the adsorbent.
