Methods of stream deviation influence neutralization
in stream contactless nephelometers

Developed by authors methods of random stream deviation influence on multiple-unit ring-form photodetector minimization in stream contactless are described. Earlier the advantage of such a multiple-unit photodetector was shown and the method of its signal receiving as a sum of all photosensors signals was proved. In this article two methods, which improve proposed engineering solution, are shown in detail: the method with a square-root extraction and the method of a correction factor calculation. The first method, described here, is related to mathematical operations on sensors’ signals execution, the second – to correction factor, which multiplies the photodetector signal, automatically calculation. Their comparative evaluation was carried out. It is shown, that all three methods can be applied in nephelometers to compensate the error, caused by stream deviation, taking into account the pros and cons of methods.
