The problems of the use of recoverable building resources (RBR) for sustained development of the regions. The factors, stages and technologies are proposed that determine the effectiveness of RBR generation, recycling and utilization. The measures on the RBR use at the regional level and structure of enterprise for the RBR multipurpose utilization are described. The complex method for determination the most effective option of RBR at the enterprise and the region. Assessment of RBR use options in the facilities reconstruction with account of determining the effectiveness of a material, social, environmental and scientific spheres is very important in the present conditions. The strategic efficiency of RBR use is selected and considered as one of the components of the problem of sustainable development in the regions.
