Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back Calculating concentration of harmful emissions into the atmospherein the presence of several sources of pollution Kornyakov A.B. Troitskaya E.V. The interference of emission areas should be considered for adjacent chimneys. Method for the calculation of emission concentration in the atmosphere is suggested for such conditions involving variation of adjacent emission sources. Authors proposed the formula for calculating the radius of the unit circle of emission areas and determine the radius of the boundary circle, where the concentration of harmful substances will be maximum. On the basis of the selected dissipation model is built plot of the ratio of the concentration of gaseous emissions from its maximum magnitude in the direction of the source of emissions – the chimney. Results of calculations make possible to optimize maximal power plant capacities and the chimneys heights. Keywords: Interference; emission; emission area; concentration; chimney.
