Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back A Sufficient Causes Approach for the Assessment of Combined Action Type of Toxicants Panov V.G. A procedure of assessment of toxicant’s combined action based on Sufficient Causes is considered. The raw data of the full 2×2 factorial experiment was reduced to complete binary form by the appropriate dichotomization of outcome values in the control group. Thanks the fact that every experimental group consists of 10…12 test animals, one can calculate the probability of the outcome types in the obtained binary experiment. An assessment of the combined action type carried out by interpretation от the most probable outcome type. It is shown that this way obtained findings conform to conclusions obtained by other methods, e.g. by isobologram method of Loewe.
