Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back Analysis of trends in risk factors and health status of children preschool age Yekaterinburg to 2001–2011 years Konstantinova E.D. Maslakova T.A. Zhovner I.V. Varaksin A.N. This paper investigates changes in health indicators and health-related risk factors in children of Yekaterinburg in the period from 2001 to 2011. The studies were conducted on a sample of 2101 preschool children Zheleznodorozhny district of Yekaterinburg. The data about each child were collected in the children’s city hospital № 16. The prevalence of different risk factors (RF) and the prevalence of the most frequent pathologies (diseases of the respiratory system, diseases of the circulatory system, diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue) were determined. During the observation period (2001–2011 years) multidirectional trends in the changes of the risk factors were found. The positive trends in some of the social and family factors were marked. So, the proportion of parents who smoke in the apartment, reduced from 62,8 to 20,8 %. The proportion of families in which use tap water without purification reduced too. The percentage of families who note their financial situation as poor reduced from 32 to 9 %.
